Eh it's more around 20k (because of charms).

You don't need godly rares to be competitive. Often times, runewords or uniques are better than a fool's in terms of weapons.

Visionaries are about the only "must-have" rares, and finding a good one can be costly.

The real expense comes from charms. On west, for example, 37x 3/20/20's costs around 20k, and 10/76/45s go for 3k each.

I made a zealer for 1k fgs only more or less.. and its even made for vs all.. well good smiters beat me but I do win with grief smite alot

I use a bit bm on my zealer when dueling melee but then again it only cost me 1k fgs so idc I dont fell like spending so much fgs on a char.. so they can cry idc I win

1k would only buy a single set-up, which is inflexible. Not to mention, you would only have plain 20 lifers.

My edc, zbug fort, visionary, ptorch, and anni is worth 1k right there, and that would bounce off any competent zealot.

ofc you can build a pk char for 300 fg for pubbing, but for serious pk, you're looking to spend at least 5k. That's for general pk builds.

Zeal vs. zeal is more gear intensive, probably more so than bvb, so spending the extra fg to make a better char shows.

Meh not really you can make a gg zealot for under 10k if you know how to build it right. Gear really only gets very expensive if you want perfs and then it's build > perf gear.
