Hello all, been away since before 2.4 and I see a lot has changed. Good to see a guide up and running.

Are there any resources for what's most optimal for PvM now? I checked out max roll and their guide is saying Grief + Phoenix is best. I haven't done the math but I would think a 2-handed setup should still be better for maximum damage in PvM.

I couldn't find any guides for PvM specifically. I am going over all my characters and seeing what I need to change/upgrade to make them max geared again. Want to start with Fury Druid.

Hiya, welcome back. While this isn’t a guide for pvm, there have been a few comments about it in the last several pages. You might want to take a look there to see if you can glean anything useful from it. It was my understanding that due to the way Firestorm works now that Grief and Phoenix is pretty hard to beat in pvm. But the IAS changes have made many
2handers viable and powerful. There was some discussion about whether ebotd GT, archon staff, Death in certain 2 handed bases, or even Tomb Reaver was best but I’m not sure it was ever definitively decided. I do think that for basic pvp ebotd GT is very hard to beat as far as 2 handers go, just not sure about pvm.

I enjoy death glorious axe in pvm. Reaper’s Toll is also a viable weapon now and super fun to use.

What happened to the wolf barb tho

Someone said the 4x shael caddy is no longer hitting 3 frames? It appears a empty 40 ias scourge moves the same speed now? Is the ias capped or what is going on?

If these druids can now run 3 frame and I’m stuck at 6 then I think grief pb is fair on a wolf barb now.

Wolf barbs aren’t amazing. We had one on the shapeshifting ladder and it wasn’t working out. We ended up banning the use of Oak against them which sort of leveled out the playing field. Can’t unban grief though.

Very few weapons can run at 3 frame on Druid. Very few.

I could sleep every single one of you with a wolf barb and a 300 Ed fools scourge. Just because y’all can’t build one doesn’t mean it doesn’t work. I could also kill zealots which was supposed to be impossible. I called out several wolf druids with perfect fanged knifes and even collectors and they died.

Grief pb is now gm on a wolf barb, they cannot go past 6 frames after the update. If you say no grief then your eliminating a wolf barb entirely, the only reason a legend sword, pb or scourge was good was because of the fps it could hit, now we swung slow and hard, get ready.

A 300ed fools scourge will do nothing on the shapeshift ladder which is 99% wolf druids. Fools weapons have been extensively tested against wolf druids and they are incredibly weak. You would actually have much better luck vs. a zealot. Sounds like you're talking about LoD in regards to the fanged knives ... 1os ereps in particular bases are now stronger than those fanged knives because of the weapon types available to druids and the fact that you can now Lo everything instead of Shael. Things just aren't the same. I'd say come to the shapeshift ladder and test your theories, if you'd like. Wolf druids are not remotely the same gm melee class they were in LoD.

If any class were allowed to use a Grief, it would be conc barbs - there are far more of them and they lose against virtually every other gm melee class pretty badly. Banning Oak Sage against wolf barbs actually works fairly well and has leveled the playing field and they can do fairly well (at least on the SS ladder).
