Imo the crafted belts are prime, but two sockets taken up by ber's is pretty restricting. I would just hold out with dungo's and socket your SS and helms with offensive jewels.

At the end of the day nothing is stopping you from experimenting though!

Yea, only problem is that i play ladder at the moment, so they're like 300fg's :( But when ladder resets i'll definitely go for the 30/60/9/9's!
But that's why i'm asking if the Dual Ber + 24fhr/ow/str belt is stupid and it's better with Dungo + 2x 7fhr/ed :)

Maths:

30 str and 80 life possible on the belt with 24 fhr.

30 str is 60 base life, 24 fhr is 5 small charms or 100 life worth of stats.

So it's 240 base BOable life, 10% open wounds.

Verdungoes is 40 vita but not BOable, so it's 80 straight life. But notables has 10 FHR which is equivalent to two small charms or 40 base life.

If you have 7fhr/30ed/9str/9dex jewels that's 14 FHR which is 60 base life (3xsmall charms) and 36 stats which is 72 base life.

So you get 112 base life from that setup. The 80 nonBOable life on Verdungoes is worth another 17 or so base life.

Let's call it ~130.

So you end up with 110 less base life. That translates to 800 to 1000 extra life after you shift up depending on total +skills and BO level.

But the Verdungoes setup does net you 60% enhanced damage. However, if you're using a botdz, how much extra average is that? My wolf has ~2500-8900 damage with botdz. The average damage from that is 5700 *.17*.5 = 484. Adding 60% to the weapon base you get another 19 average damage per hit.

So would you rather be able to survive two extra average damage hits or do 19 more damage pet hit?

do you have any tips

ps: I bought an anti-caster circlet:
30 frw 30@ 2 open sox. I put 2x 20/15 jewels in, so now stat are:
30 frw 60@ 40 life

It's really good for pubs, have 165 frw and stacked res with the following setup:
Circlet listed above
Tomb reaver
Bloodfists
Mavina belt
Cats eye
Aldurs
Raven
Stat ring
Enigma

If you need even more FRW, hit some mobs right before the fight starts. It lasts 20 seconds and gives you 55% more frw. They'll have a crazy hard time out teleporting you

Sorry I originally wanted to ask if you have dueling tips vs smiters or hammerdins? It seems impossible to beat a half decent smiter

Hammer is one of the easiest duels. Just run southwest and use the shift key to swipe at the air. They will always either charge at you and die or teleport on top of you and die.

Smite is much harder. You'll want to swap to a berber CoA and a highlords. Also suggest gores. You'll need the deadly strike far more than the extra run speed.

Run south, hit the shift key for a single fury animation (you'll be knocked back but you can tell if you hit him or make him block), then run south and hit shift again when you're about two or three character lengths away. Don't run exactly south all the time, slightly southwest or southeast work pretty well, too. It's really all about learning how to use the shift key instead of targeting their name.
