Zomg he actually said something that works...

Every 1% of sorb is basically 2% resistance:

If I have, say, a 20% poison absorb item (lol), that means I take 20% less poison damage and gain 20% of that back to my life. Basically, I take 40% less poison damage.

Basically, sorb > resistances because so many items have high enough amounts of sorb to make them more desirable than resistances.

-resists often don't have that much of an impact because if you're not using sorb, stacked res is ok. This means you have to break through their res.

37x 20/5 charms
or in my budget barb case, I have 9x 15 resist gcs & 10x 11 resist scs

Odd, because i've yet to meet a cold sorc that I can't sorb (even on my vita sorc!) You must be doing it wrong. Try thawing potions
