frw isn't useless, but it's very miniscule, i can barely, BARELY tell any difference between griffs/valk.

ias is nice, but it really only saves ~35 life in this case, being able to use a 15/7 or 15/20 instead of a 15/15 in helm. (also there's the ias stack, but that doesn't really matter much now that there's the mb setup).

fhr, again, just means saved life.

the damage + block + shadow master etc etc > the life boost.

that's a very, very simplistic version of the argument =/

fhr is useless when you have a good bp

30 fhr won't give you an other bp
