Hey blue mushroom what type of shield would you use in a rare only set up? Also do u just try to get gear with as much high deff as possible?

Ah rare only is tough since it’s such expensive gear. For full disclosure I haven’t made a 100% rare zealot before. I’ve seen some high def ar/ed fbr shields. Tough to suggest a base since options are so limited. Vortex would have highest def but also requires more dex for mb. For armor you’d want to look for eth, self rep with 2 sockets and some mods like, +life, -reqs. The rest depends on your wep. If you use a cruel wep you’d want Angelics. For a fools you’d go highlords, melee ring (ar,life, str and dex) or raven and another raven. For vis you’d want a +2 pally with stats and 2 sockets which I would ber/ber if you don’t need cnbf since there’s no dr otherwise

Ah just realized highlords and ravens are probably banned too my mistake lol. In that case two melee rings and you’ll need a Cham somewhere

Grief would be better than botd for sure but it’s banned in gm melee duels so it’s not an option which is why I don’t mention it
