I see, you just made it sound like your CTH was the problem. In that case; I would use res boots+ar charms rather than the typical Gores+res charm set-up.

I think Gores is significant, but not enough to turn around a match-up.

You can't say stuff like that. Sometimes it won't matter whether you have res boots or gore's, other times the 1 extra crit might win you the duel.

Gores + res charms simply results in a higher output

Yes, but you can still average the effects. It's very possible for a situation like that to happen, but if you look at the average damage difference it's easier to comment on it.

Yes that was my point, because switching out gore's is not an option when you can outstack with lightres charms. I could have said it was due to less output instead of less AR, it's pretty much the same deal...

And gore's helps a ton, losing them makes a difference.

I came up with that idea long ago but discarded it again, cause it really isn't worth it

well i still use viper eye vs v/ts i mean a raven + viper eye + hls + enchant and good inventry is not so bad sure ur still lose alot of AR and throw on tg but atleast u can keep gores this way

E:

Just had a thought wot about if some way u could swap in 3-4x 12x ar/4x life gcs?

this gives over double the ar compared ofc to 3x 3/20/20 and then throw in some life/res scs?

Obviously space in inventry is a problem but it could work?

And in average gore's + res charms > res boots + ar charms....
My point is, you can't say gore's won't make a difference. It optimizes your stats compared to the other build, so yes it might make a difference...

angelics + tgod + gores + lightres charms will still beat it any day

About the GC thing, it's really a waste of space if you ask me

Yes, I myself prefer Gores+res charms than the other way. But you're making the loss of ar sound really significant vs v/ts, and it's clearly not if you'd still prefer to use 15% ds over extra AR.

gores are more than 15% ds

And my point was that you will lose OUTPUT in order to outstack conv, be that in form of DS/OW/CB or AR or something else. And since it is best to keep gore's on and swap in lightres charms it will (unless you use an inferior setup) result primarily in a loss of AR (also max dmg)

Sure, no denying that, but I really wouldn't call it a significant loss in AR either. :/

I don't remember the exact amount of AR you lose, but iirc it's like 8 SC's or something you need to swap in, which definitely adds up... Anyway let's not discuss it further, I don't think we're gonna get anywhere^^

Oh, on a sidenote you also lose 11% DR if you're using tgod, which I guess we can both agree on is quite important :P
