I'm not prioritising anything. I just want to outstack conv and maintain the highest possible output, which is obtained by getting res from charms and keeping gore's

Your point is that a v/t>barb (unlike a Smiter) due to less AR used to stack Convic. I pointed out another method that allows you to keep a large sum of AR and stack vs Conviction. The loss of Gores isn't going to suddenly turn an advantaged match-up into a disadvantage.

even a decent barb, trying to stack conv aura looses ar pretty needed vs high def (exiled) paladin
but not always v/t > barb

I kill most of but there are some (with 20/5 + 3/20/20 fully equipped) which can easily do the job.

Yes that was my point, because switching out gore's is not an option when you can outstack with lightres charms. I could have said it was due to less output instead of less AR, it's pretty much the same deal...

And gore's helps a ton, losing them makes a difference.

I came up with that idea long ago but discarded it again, cause it really isn't worth it

I see, you just made it sound like your CTH was the problem. In that case; I would use res boots+ar charms rather than the typical Gores+res charm set-up.

I think Gores is significant, but not enough to turn around a match-up.
