Is there any way to damage cold immunes?

conviction or lower resist. equip merc with infinity.

im almost positive that you're not supposed to max cold mastery
it is only affective till lvl 20 (including skills from items)

great guide. when i got my sorce geared up i did all the runs you outlined +council. council only has 1 cold immune and like 10% chance of 2 and they can drop stuff other than a bunch of gold. its so easy to do them because you just sit on the front side of their little temple and blizz and ice blast them from 1 level lower.
