hi i have about 18 unused skill pts rite now (ehcl)
i have 1 in all curses
max skele skele mastery mages
1 in all othe summon
1 in teeth
1 in CE

wat shud i do? =/
1 in bone armor rest in bone wall? im not sure if its going to be a good ROI
(not really buying the whole maxing CE thing, damage stays the same and range is good enough at lvl 18 w 1 hard point)

ofc max CE, cause the better range - the less time you need to cast CE to kill everthing around.

well wth else do you have to do besides cast amp and CE? not exactly a labor intensive character :/

it's very intensive and fast character. Tele -> amp -> monster dead -> CE and so on and so on.

im still waffling :unsure:
if you consider mages optional, which they kinda are this has to be the only build in d2 with like 40 extra skill pts :o

did you read guide?^^ i said max mages and max CE, where you see something optional? :huh:

seems i can not give bigger!

Advice:
Marrowalk, take it, your a summoner (not take it, is like a leap baba whitout gorefoot)

block (homunocules): you are a pvm god (not pvm beginner) telestump monsters for GODMODE
no block= the monster hit you when you telestump him, block is must have for this!
why need telestump? for army concentration on 1 point, all damage to less monsters = more corpse, more corpse at 1 spot to CE
GODMODE=you see a group monsters, telestump between them, the curse+wall+CE+CE+CE+curse+CE+CE+CE = 4 screans of monsters death in 1-4seconds

Merc:
yes it can have more damage, but damage is not all (low damage kills to)
monsters go down ez anywhy from army, merc helps ofc, but is not the main point of summoner
your army+CE gives you the fun, not your merc
infi, boost corpse expl yes, but CE not realy needs boosting. (just fcr+amp)
and pride, it gives aura to army, the base of summon necro
plz take bramble-pride-anda(or any helm)

Fun idee:
wisp ring: wolverine spirit.
a soj/fcr ring is hot to ofc, and your spirit dies dam fast,
but for party / goodlooks auranecro / GODMODE looks. it can be nice to have in stash!
total army auras/bufs: 8
(3merc / wisp/beast/2bo/curse) the more, the wtf

Firegolem, option? it just cost 1 skill, and it may even make some corpse if your merc would be death, togethor whit lower res
and i also beleave the aura attreckt monsters to him.
Golem is not realy super inportant. iron golem from rw, even a 1hr(non lad price) insight would destroy a hr/some fg)
Now you have all summon skills, some reasons to take 1 in firegolem!

overall comments:
magefist adds +1mage skelletons (fire), stil, i prefere Trangs
if block is to hard to get massive fcr, mebe try a lower breakpoint fcr

dunno if you advices were serious :lol: if so then:

marrowalks are overrated for summoner; 2 mastery skills are not much and dext not needed, strength maybe.. while aldurs boots gives 50 life, 50% fire res (a lot!) and damage goes to mana, which is also useful

homo - i prefer non block and spirit is just amazing shield why not to use it..?

merc:
bramble really sucks.. monsters in hell have low damage comparable to there huge life that mean they won't deal good damage to themselfs..
pride REALLY sucks; what is adds is damage to skeles and that's all while infinity gives CB (the only source of CB on summoner if w/o revives), -defence so more hits skeles, -res so mages makes more damage and CE too.. also you merc's damage will be like 3x times better than pride merc's..

my advice was 300%serious !

boots: dex is welcom if bock! and +summon mastery is like +2 to the master of summoner skills, its your best summon skills
block, see above GODMODE
mebe bramble will not be the best, but at least it adds to summons!
fhr in pvm, its lol! thats why nn spirit
fcr, ofc its help, but its only usefull when got corpse arround

infinity, already showed defend of monsters in your ''what merc weapon on summoner topic''
defend of monster is realy not a concern! monsters have low defend!
mages do less then 10% of your damage, so nn -enemy res!
your bild sound like a dia-baalrun necro!

a GODMODE summon necro, makes his own area of power, like act5 cristaline passage/frozen river, or all big lvl area whitout IM
not rand chaos runs/baalruns, where summoners are not like to see
chaos/baalruns is for random dins/low lvl noobs
you are are ready for more trills!

to get main potential of your bild, realy:
GODMODE=you see a group monsters, telestump between them, the curse+wall+CE+CE+CE+curse+CE+CE+CE = 4 screans of monsters death in 1-4seconds
my advice it made for that! not for dia/baalruns

a godmode pvm necro, makes new rules/areas of power! not din rules!
you make a hammerdin feel noobish when you come whit necro. not follow the din for his 3min games for dia/baal

if you want to follow noobs/dins, follow the advice of sticky/dins
if you think you are the powergod, who rewhrite the rules of power, follow my advice
