Even using 1024 res hacked map in D2 still You've just been a puppy doll. What makes u think you could beat me this time? Oo

Yes ofc you can. As i said before, you nn the ultimate gear to own. You will do fine w 20 life scs and non perf items, but that means you will have to use abs or change gear pretty much. Then the hammer becomes more like any other char with no stacked res. The benefit of hammers (and smiters) is that the dmg is so high,which enables you to use alot of stacked resist and still have awesome dmg, no other chars in d2 can provide that. This means that this guide is not in its right element without the best items but it is the best build no matter gear, so ofc you can own with it. Before I got all my final items, my hammer ownd nearly as much, so I can assure you you won't need the most expensive items to own.
