That setup should do pretty well. I usually like higher def armor setups for non tap duels, but that should work.

Question:
BOTD being a 1.10 NL runeword and GRIEF being a 1.10 LADDER runeword.
Why do people insist that GRIEF is BM?
Did they say that BOTD was BM when that first came out?

I just can not fathom why people have made rules on some items and then
allow other items, for an example in NL you can use Fort (ladder runeword)?

I also concur that Eth Fools mod'd zerkers can be better than EBOTDZ.

First of all grief is bm for chance to cast venom. Any poison damage = bm, and has always been. No, botd was not bm when it came out and a fools is another option for a wep, I just forgot to add it to the guide. Something being a ladder item does not define whether it's bm or not, so yes fort is gm. Also, 300 ed is max ed for a fools mod wep.

Hey dark-soul, nice guide, it' is probably the second best Zeal guide i have read.

I however have not played a zealot since very early in 1.10, and back then nobody in zeal pk was using exiles. I was wondering if you could perhaps field this question for me.

I am using a eth valor settup, dracs(ow), ebotdz, 2 x angelics +ammy (lack of ar), and i am kind of figuratively stuck on the shield and helm choice.

Right now i am decided between:
SS + Shako + 24fhr/30str/40+life belt
vs.
SS + COA (cham/40.15) + 24fhr/30str/40life belt
vs.
your recommendation of Exile vortex + BerBer Coa + 15% dr Dungo's

On my relm we dont have duped 3/20/20's and i will be gradually buying 30+ar/20life scs but in the meantime i will suffice with 20life scs.

Any recommendations? I'm quite stuck.

Thanks for the comment first of all . And as far as gear, what I listed is the ideal valor setup, which is exile/verdungos/coa. For this setup as well as other low ar setups such as eth tmight its best to use half ar/life gcs and the rest dmg/ar/life scs. Goal for ar should be around 18k and you will hit anyone just fine. Also, fhr doesn't effect zeal to much, the only time fhr comes into play is between zeals. In my current setup I do notice the lack of fhr since I don't use a coa to hit the next bp, but it's still not really an issue, so you don't need to use that rare belt or put that jewel in your shako. If you want an additional ar boost, since you're just using plain 20 lifers, you could always use ss+ coa and use hsarus boots/belt which will add another 5k ar. Only problem with that is you lose some ds but if you need the ar than it's worth the sacrifice. What realm are you on?

Right now on my old (str-fucked) zealot from long ago i get 15k so getting the extra 3k after re-making him shouldnt be too hard, but would 15k be enough to hit 40k+def zealots using exile etc?

Other thing i wanted to ask is i have a eth rare pb. 265ed/20ias(hits bp)/fools/ Lo'd, I'm unsure if there is a specific settup i should be using for this, right now it seems to equal the damage of my ebotdz O_O i'm guessing thats because it hit's alot more (ar bonus from fools) and the extra 20% ds.

Any kind of advice or critique on an ideal settup using that pb would be welcomed with warm arms, right now i was going to use it with the same items as above, but if you have a recommendation, please, let me know

Thats a pretty sexy fools 35 ed away from perf. For that setup I would use, ber/ber coa, valor, verdungos, highlords / 2x ravens, upd gores, steelrends. And at around 18k ar you have no problem hitting 50k+ def zealots no problem. Valor setup is actually one of my favorite setups and you should do it.
