I read through like the 1st 20 pages before I realized that there is an excessive amount of builds for zeal.

Yeah, theres a lot of builds for zeal but you don't need every single but you should stick with one armor then go from there or stick with a shield you want and go from there.

This, most builds are basically the same idea, you aim for certain goals and just build around what gear you have.

Also, forgot to note if your going into melee, you should know your rules of your league then go from there and see what's banned and what's not.

I'm not planning on building one. Just increasing my knowledge of specific builds.

Can't win them all. Besides you know I don't have high end melee gear like I used to so it's to be expected. And even if I lose the tourney I still have fun attending whenever I get the chance

question- why do you prefer edc over ebotdz in certain builds and ebotdz over edc in others? what are the positives and negatives to each one?

As far as I can tell, it's the ds that is the reigning factor between those builds

Yep, depending on the setup, average damage is highger with ebotdz or edc depending on what the setup allows to wear in terms of ds.
