zerker vs zerker u can shift click all day, they have the same range, so it doesn't change anything.  The person who hits first is the person who has better internet, in that case.

Shifting/angeling is only good high range vs low range weapons  but most melee use zerker because it is the overall best base.

It still works fine even when the ranges are the same. It's about how you do it, not that you simply held down the shift key. Low range vs high range can also benefit from it when done correctly. Fanged Knife vs Zerk can still win the shift battle.

i've never really believed shift clicking does anything. angeling can matter if the range is different, thats it.

The person who is better and faster at it.

So, if you're good at the game legitimately you may as well use cheats, too? Makes no sense.

They are somewhat similar. But you can wear Prudence with Stormshield and attain way more defense than alma setups.

Consider shifting and angling is bming or cheating lol. It made 100% sense lol

The only reason it's considered that is because after 1.12 or so you kids got lazy and butthurt. Shift was always GM until just the past couple of years.

That's because you don't have enough experience with it. I learned it in 2002-2003 during the peak of melee on USEast. It's damn effective when done correctly.

Was def banned in .11 too. I can't remember it being mentioned at all in .10 but I know a few people were accused of shifting in .11 and it being bm as an unfair advantage. They even tested me to make sure I wasn't shifting because I "was winning to much so they thought I might be cheating" lol. I passed the test ofc.

@Mokuba I rarely even get on d2 atm so chances of me making another guide are pretty slim. I say ss setups are generally the best for non tap because it creates the most options. I'd take a rare/eprud/fort > shaft in non tap duels. I do use shaft quite a bit though for non tap. But mainly because im to lazy to change my entire setup for boring non tap duels ^_^

Is it worth it to dump points into str to be able to wear e prudence sacred armor for NT duels, or should an archon plate prudence be used so that a bunch of life isn't lost in all setups?

na i just think its something people can just bitch about when they loose. melee is always random. it may have mattered then, back when everyone used dial up, i was 12 then and didnt care much. but now the only thing that affects melee is internet connection. whoever has the lowest ping will hit first.
