I usually do 1 now, and let the busted Merc setup take care of the rest while I loot, using BCry on the other group. It works out well.

What's the busted Merc setup? Is it something different than your original post?

I really thought the find potion synergy was a bug, or just an idea that someone had suggested that wouldn't actually make it to ladder. I think it's great. Sure, every sorc main is gonna roll a barb now too, but who cares? Too cool.

why beast? and not something like grief? kinda new to barb btw love your guide

How does this go in practice? I assume the merc just shreds most of the time, but fire res seems kind of low, especially on the first one - does the life steal make up for the hydra damage? And what happens if you hit conviction with this setup?

Also out of interest have you tried with dual beast? Can get the merc DPS a bit higher that way, but I'm guessing it's slower to get gold overall when you lose the 450 from the offhand...
