It's probably better than grief vs certain other characters because of defense. If it were LoLo that is. It's still probably 80 or so average damage lower than a grief if LoLo'd but chance to hit could make up for it.

Actually, grief zerk is 90 more average weapon damage than Bren's fools if it had two Lo's.

I do agree with you about eth/lo though. I've always recommended eth/lo wherever possible. I can't say I actually checked the math as you two, however in my experience an eth does make a difference in duels.
