I just use alma with my normal tap setup since lazy . Still works well most of the time though.

i used to use non eth alma and i loved it way more than eth alma. i could add a jewel to give me more dps. the only problem was that its always a race. you cant tank as much as you could with an eth.

Say I use highlord/raven combo... is a 1 socket paladin circlet with a ber in it better than a shako with an ed jewel or a high def vis?

Most circlets tend to be ber/cham, right? Or are they even used in nontap at all (as 80/30 for example)?

edit: these are the stats on the one I have:

+2 to Paladin Skill Levels
+9 to Minimum Damage
1% Bonus to Attack Rating (Based on Character Level)
+75% Enhanced Defense
+23 to Strength
+21 to Life

Yeah I use an 80/30 pally vis with 20 str for non tap with eprud setup. (haven't used in a while though). For tap it's cham/ber pally vis. Only setup for tap i'd see working with a 1 soc pally vis would be levi.

Non tap has more options though since you get another socket to play around with (ss).

1o's vis is fun to, for some fool users or for botdz, e deemer, e hls, etc. 1o's vis sucks for edc though i myself, want one kind of but i want like insane one actually

Depends on setup. Edc, ebotdz or gg fools are the 3 options for gm melee. I use edc most of the time though.

Eh? Fools + highlords/ravens means you don't need cham. So ber 1 sock circlet works just fine, right?

Everyone says fools + angelics is just pointless.
