You say fcr isn't important and WWs are better than treks. Seriously wtf is wrong with you. No wonder your strategy against poison characters is to roll over when you have no poison resist and no fcr. On top of that you don't even know how ias works with a sorc's zeal. You suggest fail ass IK set as a good idea to hit a breakpoint that doesn't exist. Which is almost as bad as the fact that you think you somehow deal 3k physical damage. You can't, don't, and won't hit that much ever, you aren't special.

You can't catch up to anyone, or run away from anyone. Somehow you think you can take down hammerdins by walking up to their hammer fields and doing a slow ass teleport to do your horrible level 3 zeal. But of course I forgot, the only way you can kill ANYONE is by BM jumping them. My bad. Try actually using skill instead of failure.

This guide is worse than the ones that suggest dragon/hoj for the holy fire as being better than dream. At least those guides are usually accurate with breakpoints and damage. Hey dumbass heres something I bet you didn't know. The top 5 most important things for a zeal sorc go in this order:

#1. Level 5 zeal (You don't have.)
#2. Cannot be Frozen (You don't have.)
#3. Last IAS Breakpoint (You don't know what it is and you're way the fuck past it.)
#4. As much AR as possible (Oh man you did 1 thing right with angelics. Congrats.)
#5. Survivability (You don't have FCR or poison res or max block and your BO is embarassing considering you're prebuffing so much. I had level 15-17 with very minor prebuff.)

Oh man you did 1/5 of the most important things for a melee sorc properly. And hell if you break down survivability its 1/8. Everyone who thinks this guide is either good or comprehensive fails. I've seen guides from back when dream was first introduced in 1.10 that are better than this pile of crap. Even for a BM sorc this fails because you don't even have the FCR to NK properly with aura or to jump people from screens away.

Please delete this guide its making people think this is an acceptable melee sorceress.

Horrible guide, not how I would apprach this type of build at all. Your skill and gear selections need some rethinking.

Yeah lets block 50k light damage with Spurs...

Guys he doesn't have a better one, or at least he hasn't replied...basically a strategy-guide version of a dodge so...I guess i win...

Strangely enough, I vouch this. I have never seen a really good dueling aurasorc.. ever. Even my low resists shitty trash leviathon/astreons/vamp gaze shit zeal/smiter absolutely trashed these in the duel games. I think aura sorcs only kill glass cannon zons, and then just by teleing around waiting for the aura to trash their shitty low life.

Actually, having looked at the first page, I noticed that this guide was posted... in 2006.

Why beat down a guide that is 2 YEARS OLD???!!!!

Eldest Elder probably got a life somewhere and doesn't even care what you guys think about his zeal guide. He has probably made a better one already if he hasn't quit D2 and started playing City oF Heroes or Villains or even WoW. Remember kiddes, d2 is 8 years old.


ALSO:::

I am personally against making characters that require insane prebuff. Because of this, I consider the zeal sorces, the buffed hybrid sin, stacked auradins, etc.-- as not really characters. When you have to do all this crap before you even go out on the duel floor, like switch charm inventorys, switch wep switch from CtA and +9 ES memory and +6 venom claws, demonlimbs, 70/15's, lite GC's, SoJ's, angelics, lidless, arachs, ETC ETC------ it's just pointless...
Then you get a sub-par dueling character on the floor that requires 10 minutes of prebuff and a borrowed +1 to zeal weapon almost from some kind of fucked up exploit that came from no where, and appears not to even have battle orders, WHY DUEL????? Why not just make a griswold smiter, I'm not even kidding, they are more PVP viable than any zeal sorce. LOL there goes my rant.

but i dont like prebuff..
but your worse.. too much prebuff.. 2 prebuff set up.. not worth time imo
