okay the leap i can answer:
increases the area of effect of the knockback effect -> keeps ur merc safe and WHOLE area stunned (dont max it tho, just click until you see the range is good enough)

sword mastery:
gee i dno... i think that when ur merc dies, you can farm some gold on NM to buyback.
id say put some in passive speed. makes u do the runs alot faster, then when u got some points left, put
a beast + any wep in switch and click a bit on frenzy.
first of all ur merc gets fana (yay)
second, u can now kill the phys immunes.

-> slows down ur killin speed alot.
not gettin more gold since u kill slower.

Why death and not botd plz?

Other people noticed too. Botd seems to be better yes.

Anyone who can tell me whether the place you gamble (act and difficulty) is important?

i feel like this build could only do nm trav and not hell trav.

that's where i'm stuck at, can't do hell mode

im thinking i might pick up a 400dmg grief cb.

My gf barb wears 2x Ali Baba's (One 2x Lem'd, One 2x Ist'd), Crown of Thieves Lem'd, Wealth, Chance Guards, Gold Wrap, 2x Dwarf Stars, Inferno Stride Boots, and that fire res. amulet. I have dozens of large/grand charms with goldfind on them, and a 123% gf/15% discount Gheeds. I do Hell Trav Runs.

Whats the gf on those rares? I tend to make 200k-600k and sometimes 700k if I am lucky (pure gold drops).

I just recently made this build as well, lvl 88, relatively close to the first post but I didn't max out sword mastery.

My Act 2 Merc wears Ebotd Warpike, Eth Fort, Eth Crown of Thieves with a 40-15 ias jewel in it. I'm wondering if I should have Cham'd it instead...
Sometimes my merc has trouble fighting when he is overwhelmed/swarmed by the Council and especially if there is a Holy Freeze enchanted Council member or a hidden physical immune.

I haven't caluclated my gf on my barb yet but I am quite sure its not over 2k (again estimated guess). I just recently started to use dual Crown of Thieves (on barb and merc) and all of the sudden less gold has dropped from when I used to wear an Arreats Face on my barb and CoT on my merc...is there some sort of cap on gf? (I'm not using just one example of a gf run, but I just got my 2x CoT's today and ever since then gold barely drops) :(

ok well i have a gold barb myself and he is a bit a of a cheap ass
but i really have to ask why u think a5 merc does more dmg then a2 . cus a5 might have bigger hits per attack but a2 merc has jab :/ so its dmg per second is a lot higher imo

my merc uses eth reapers toll/fort/cot and kills hell trav ez

just leap around to keep the counsil from swaming him and altho enigma is - a ton of eg i think that tele helps get ur merc were u want it , in itself that means faster runs

my dude has like 400 mf and 1500 gf . i think u only need an average of 300-500k gold a run to make it worth while
