Brad, can you write a detailed guide on fools build? Like what to socket the hat especially since using ravens frees up a socket for jewels.
Also, can you comment on rare/crafted rings for fools build? How are max/min damage rings compared to a second raven, bk, or stat ring?

P.S. push the guy who is donating you gear for zealot so you can verify theories and get a feel of how melee has improved/degraded since godly gear became easier to obtain.
Just like societies now trying to narrow the rich/poor gap to make an even playing field, does making melee more accessible to the masses increase the depth of builds and tactics?

with a 2os rep zerk, get a high stat pally vis cham/ber, angelics, 20ias/high def (190+)/15str/15dex rare gloves, shaft, pcombats
this build worked for me vs almost everything in zvz, if you need to change gear have a high def visionary to swap, don't really need to use anything else

slap on melee ring, highlord, raven, and shako if you're doing nontap, zvd, zvb

Tbh I don't have that much experience with fools setups. I couldn't find one that could outperform an edc setup so I didn't bother very often. There just weren't any 2 soc erep fools out there for me to play around with. So my suggestions would just be theorycrafting. . A gg Rare ring would be superior to a raven when available though. I always tried to use mine when I had the chance.

I think it would be interesting to see the state that melee is in these days. When I was in it most people still used various setups with few using shaft. It seemed that I was one of the first to make shaft my main setup with primarily using a shako or my high def visionary. At least that's what I gathered from my duels in pn and different tournies.



I added that setup real quickly on page 5 or so since it was requested.
