I figure most pub duelers sorb anyways, and if they don't sorb then traps with 1-2k less damage will still kill them anyways

thats a decent theory but maxing the traps help a lot more than you think. mastery is nice, but 1 point with + skills gives almost the same bonus as maxing it (its like a few % more)

as for the lightning damage, yea it may be sorbed a little, but 6ktraps sorbed and 7.5k-8k traps sorbed makes a big diff. 6k traps practically does no damage. and even so, if u are pubbing. most of them are too stupid to sorb and will just die to the traps anyways

Here are the best mods possible to spawn on the fools claw. the 3+ lightning sentry is part of the base claw and isnt counted as a "prefix mod." and look at it this way. i know that claw cant spawn but it shows which mods to "look for" so lets say you cant get one but you can get the other. that still makes it a good claw.... get it?

Mechanic's - Add 1-2 Sockets
Fool's + (16.5 Per Character Level) 16.5-1633.5 To Attack Rating / + (0.5 Per Character Level) 0.5-49.5 To Maximum Damage (Based On Character Level) 
Witch-hunter's +2 to Assassin Skill Levels

or you can take out one of these mods for a high enough cruel mod (300ed)

Quickness 40% Attack Speed Increase
Bear Knockback
Restoration Repair Durability

eth doesnt effect pre/suffixes, neither do staffmod skills such as +light sentry

if two affixes are part of the same section you can't have them (i.e. you can't have a circlet with both +3 traps and +2 assassin skills, even though you can have 3 prefixes at once)

Bear is a suffix, Cruel is a prefix. That claw can not exist.
