Aim for higher stat everything :)

I don't believe in sweet spots, get highest you can of everything (ar, def, dmg, etc)!  B)

Generally, sacrificing damage modifiers for ar results in it taking longer to kill someone and can therefore result in a loss. I use the CTH formula often, and also break things down into how many hits it will take to win on average. This is a major determining factor in build/setup.

Why aim for a certain amount of ar? Yes ar had deminishing returns but always more gives a better chance to hit. So no reason to worry about your ar too much. Just wear the everyday gear a zvz would wear. That's how I like thinking of things.

It's what I and a lot of others like to do. I know all the formulas better than most and used multiple zealot model spreadsheets to determine cth and everything else. But I still like certain numbers and seemed to do better in duels when they were met. I never seriously said there were sweet spots or breakpoints in ar. It's just what i did and would continue doing. It's not even an argument since i know all the facts i said it was a superstition based on performance in duels.

There is something strange about this guide. The cc setup does the most damage but both shaft setups seems to outprove the point of that with defense, ar, and life. Even without the expensive visionary helmet for shaft setup shako cham is still very useful and not much ar is lost in the making. If I could only get 15/15/20/20 crafted blood gloves with this setup, it may be superior to the cc setup. So do you think shako>visionary in any case? It would be almost impossible to get a 2os/10% ds/50+ life visionary helmet because only 4 extra mods spawn on crafted items and too many possible mods that can spawn on the visionary. I'm wondering if that visionary and gloves currently exist on escnl.
