If I wanted to make a DPS build I'd just go for a Zerker build with Grief/Beast, and have the Merc tag along.

After a bit of review I think an EBOTD Giant Thresher + Gilly > Ariocs + Andy

Can hit 4.54 APS with a 40/15 in a gilly helm

No DS but you'll see the damage is net higher

Ariocs = 270ed max with 40 ed jewel = 427 average, 50% deadly = 641 average
EBOTD Giant Thresher = 415 ed max = 594 average, 15% deadly = 684 average + 35% crushing blow

Either way, I'm really imrpessed with Arioc. I didn't know it was that good.

Gotcha, that makes sense and merc gets a massive boost to survivability with that leech. Appreciate all the work and tweaking you've done with this guide! Is there a separate thread for the best gambles this season :P ?

gf merc battle...here a5 merc won and cleared travi slightly faster (setup grief + eth headstriker, forti, andy face)

but cooleys a2 merc used botd wp with forti and crown of thieves...with andy face or lamprey circ would attack faster

Not a fan of both merc setup honestly

Even if you build them correctly, maxroll show an average of 25-30% dps increase in favor of a5 merc so his time/result are still kinda coherent.

Both of these setups seem pretty potato for legit speedclears, but at least we can see them in action. The movement in the video is also kinda questionable, but idk.

Any particular reason for AP over Great Hauberk? Is it just a stylistic choice?
