You can usually get through a duel with your mana belt though ofc. In competitive duels, it’s pretty standard to have a mana pool set up beforehand
Yeah that synergy damage is juicy for sure. Talk about a trade off
At 92 I can shave off 12 points from either multi or poison jav to get 68 avoid and 71 crit, so that’s not bad. 8 points in poison jav still gives me 22k plague with no jav gcs.
Are dodge and evade just not very important because melee you should be shielding, and running you worry less about getting hit at all?

You certainly can use mana pots, but 7 frame multi costing 40 mana means you burn over 120 mana per second, which will drain a zon real damn quick.
