ouch, why would you use vita?! sorceresses are capable of having much more mana than life with the same amount of stat points invested, you might as well take advantage of that.

i'm also trying a zeal sorc for the very first time..
unfortunately i already started going vita before i read your guide...

we'll see how it goes once i'm fully geared up - but if she starts dieing a ton, i might switch to the ES version...

couple of quick questions though:

any value to going max block?
if one is too poor to get an infinity - would Obediance work well? (CB, -fire res, and some other juicy mods)

great guide though - thanks!

I wouldn't go for max block, if the block rate is too slow, you could get block-locked while trying to zeal (very annoying). And also, this isn't really a build for anyone too poor to afford the equipment, but if you really want to use it, infinity is really the only option to help get rid of light immunes.

I've never heard of anyone getting block locked, you mean the dex investment is too high, right?

No. The zeal frame is 6FPA whereas your Block frame will be 9FPA, when you block, it takes the time of 1.5 zeals. If you are in a large group of enemies, this can be deadly as you will not be able to attack.

Zeal won't be, you just won't be able to attack during the block.
