yep in pvm, battlecry will basically strip enemy defense to 0.

in pvp it's another story, since -108% defense is only on top of the hundreds of edef% from skills like frozen armor, holy shield, etc.

Can you test one more setup? Mainhand headstriker with ias/dmg jewel. Offhand headstriker with dmg/dmg jewel. Reason being that in classic frenzy ias calc, only mainhand +ias counts.

I don't have those jewels. I only have 40ed/15ias and 40ed/15 max damage. I know how frenzy works so mainhand was 40ed/15ias and offhand 40ed/15max.

Maxroll seems to have the right Merc A5 calculations, as far as I can see.
This hits the max IAS possible for A5 Merc Frenzy as far as I know, and then just focuses on maxdmg/ED to use the 3x coefficient.
It's a Gavel setup.

+15max/40ED Max on each Headstriker
+45IAS/120ED on helmet (8LL)
+45max/80ED on armor, 15@, CBF

Can replace the Archon Plate of Negation with a Black Hades (has half Freeze Duration built-in, and some off-weapon ED vs. demons!)

This should shred, even prior to the full Frenzy stacks. And then it should just delete Trav.

sick setup

i played around with calculator and replaced the magic ap armor with fortitude...

result: on paper there is more max dmg:

1. weapon from 4.5K to 5.2K
2. offhand from 4.3K to 4.9K

min dmg is also higher with forti only bad thing is with this setup u will lose cbf

helmet is pretty nice to hit the ias bp i just would replace ias/ed jewels with ias/dtd jewels to make it more budget

another setup could be gface + dual eth headstriker + forti

socketing 3x ias/dmg jwl (weapons + helm) to reach the bp

a5 merc seems to be very tanky with ironskin not sure if he needs lifeleech at all...

It's enough to socket offhand headstriker with an amn rune. Tried and testes, works like a charm.
