Too bad you can't repost with all the game mechanics added and whatnot.

If I ever made a fury guide I'd have to focus on that more than anything probably.

Tbh I forget quite a lot of the mechanics since I quite shortly after making the guide :( . Think I bug eywa almost every day with questions lol.

And when I first made the guide I wanted to keep it pretty short and sweet. Then I go a little less lazy and made this new version with pretty pics.

You should make a fury guide though since you're pretty much the most knowledgeable person on them.

Well, a lot of stuff isn't even useful after 1.11b, since after my friends started revealing all the angling tricks to the public finally the pn cracked down on melee strategy and decided all it cared about was items. But there are a lot of little things that make a difference that could be added. It's OK though, you covered the basics.

The intent was pretty much the basics anyway. I figured mostly the new guys would be needing a guide on the class so wanted to keep it to the basic setups. Yeah I remember all the shifting and angling rage going on for a bit. It used to always be top vs bottom in palapk and now it's side to side. When did that change and why? At least I think it was always top vs bottom. That's what we all did whenever I went there haha.

I revealed some info to a few people about shifting and angle advantage in late 1.10 (not exactly hidden info but people still needed lessons) that permeated the public and then started pissing off people who couldn't win against it with their 400k fg zealots.

The funny thing is that walking the grid line at the angle they "require" in pn now is one of the best ways to use angle to advantage for the weapon ranges used in melee. Kind of funny to be honest. They "fixed" the "problem" by coming up with a solution that doesn't really do anything.

I see haha. I got accused of shifting several times since I rarely lost. The general test to see if someone was shifting or not was to just walk away mid duel to see if they follow you or not. Needless to say they admitted I wasn't shifting haha. Lol @ last part.
