I'm just questioning how 5k cs /3.8k guided is going to effectively kill someone who is actually good.

CS?

Thanks for reading the guide before commenting
Seeing as how the title reads: Habakkuk's Bow & Fury Zva Guide V1.13d
CSing is not incorporated in this build at all

Also you clearly don't understand anything about how damage works in this game
You referance 3.8k guided as if maximum damage is all that counts
Guess what? 2500-3.8k damage with a Diamond hits just as high as the usual 1000-6k GA on a GMB
It's called Average Damage Output and it matters

and the 3k - 5k (Lightning Fury) damage that you seem to be confusing with CS
Is also all physical throwing damage off the ethereal cruel rares
This teamed with the 72% Critical hit is more like 6,000 - 10,000 damage with Fury and indeed hits harder than a Barbarian's whirlwind

It's been awhile since you've been active in pvp apparently

Oldschool Bowa builds relying upon GA are obsolete and irrelevant at this point in v1.13d

It's about hitting with high damage Fury this is where the damage comes from

Especially due to phoenix shield further bolstering it to around 5k-8k physical, which is really like 10k-16k with criticals

This works wonders against builds that you don't need DR% against

GA is really supplemental to bomb someone on approach and namelock them upon retreats with (Fury into GA namelock technique) see the guide

It just might make sense if you actually read the guide before commenting

First:

I like your guide and i followed it by building my own amazon. It seems very professional to me and i am sure,
that you know what you are talking about. Also it looks very good (e.g. graphics). Good job!

Second: (talking about europe, equip based on bugbelt)

I know what do you mean with faith diamond. I used it too but i changed to a faith gmb. The reason is obvious:
i can vary easier. I have a 120ed/45@/90cr/90lr and its much easier as with a 2 ama +str +dex circ which just allows
you to wear this one circ in every situation (or you buy another rare circ with exact the same amount of str...).
And its cheaper ;)

Third:

I am really no fan of this because i think all the shops fucked diablo up so badly but: you could mention "faith of ice".
With the 20 ias on it you can wear a rare 2 ama circ even with this gmb or you can change to "non-ias-gloves". (and it has 20ds)

And pls. Stop people let troll you. Obvious trolls are obvious.

Great guide, well written, sexy layout! Good job!

I never once claimed anything about being (#1)
All I did was write a guide about how to build an effective Bow & Fury ZvA

Not sure why I am being compared to every legend (such as Marvel)
But maybe you need to ask yourself why you've taken the time to bring this up in debate

check pvp east forums, people get compared to marvel all the time.
he has become a standard of excellence and a legend of times past, and if its an e-pride argument between players who have nothing to do with marvel, someone is gonna throw out the statement that the player is not as good as marvel or that someone got 5-0'd by marvel years ago or something. I find it quite silly.
people should be more concerned with their own current day gameplay imho.

pvp changes and evolves through out the years

a legend of the past might only be "good' today but not "amazing" etc

ofc, i know marvel and have dueled him. he was quite good, but not as "godlike" as people claim him to be

LOL
Sorry, but you're fucking stupid. Jesus....
The ego of this guy is fucking astounding, honestly.

Edit: You're saying you got better than people who were miles ahead of you by dueling against people who were at or below your skill level while everyone better than you quit.

I agree it changes, which is why I think its silly for people to keep talking about players as benchmarks for today's pvp.

also I find it funny cause to me all these "gods" of the past are normal people to me, I guess cause I just got to know them through being on /f l
but lets be real here. if *anyone* does deserve credit as being a really exceptional player amongst the many many heroes of d2's cult history.. steve does deserve the props given to him by pretty much everyone.

on a side note, not do derail the topic too much but I wanna bring it up since you mentioned pvp evolving..
imho I think d2's metagame still can yet undergo many many changes, a lot left to discover in this game. but sadly I dont think it'll ever happen. the game is reaching the end of it's lifespan for quite a while now and its not really picking up any in terms of pvp population or interest in furthering this particular build's metagame, so I doubt it ever will.
there is a bit of growth in pvp tactics over the years, but not enough to push the boundaries sadly. =\ for the most part it remains much the same.
