the best ones.

you can do it many ways - i've posted the best ways over time.

the best VT's of .10 used it, and with grief - it wins sets every time.

you need ias jewel + at least 10 ias gloves and 40 ias grief

you lose 1 socket usually used for a ber.... unless you're using coa

true... forget this aspect^^

bugged bugtal with ias instead of frw ^^

the easiest way was storm shield.

a bit fancier was rare 2os pala shield + ias gloves, and this way could get spendy, as +2 pala, block, res, life, 2os - sacred targe/rondace rares, and the variety of magical skill/block shields, went for a whole lot.

the best way - imho was btals and ias gloves. fusa had the best gloves at the time for such a build, and you'd not have to add more than 1 or two str to use btals with them and hoz etc...

otherwise you could do the 2os pala shield with btals, and have nice 08 gloves with high str and low str req.

those are a few off the top of my head, and there are plenty other valid variations.

I guess it works fine but you also lose teleport which can be really usefull.

tele smite in vt duels is generally overrated.

trust me, the guys that taught me, and the guys i taught, were the best of all time in VT class. between all of us, we had every single fucking thing calculated, crunched and figured out.

When i joined the vt community i raped most(every) vts with bad equip/stats only with good telesmites
