Yeah, always. Can't imagine it would work since A5 Merc can Taunt it off, etc.

A5 Merc just doesn't get FHR-locked so he's already super fast. Frenzy on top of that is wild. Try using just lvl 26Battle Cry (-100% defense on Trav), it might bring that time down to 30s.

if gavel amp dont work fine cause of this override would be demon limb an option there ?

You can just use level 26 Battle Cry honestly. It's better than Demon Limb if you're not trying to avoid overriding Amp Dmg. Reduces defense to literally 0 on all Trav Council; just doesn't help vs. Phys Immune.
Then you can keep maybe Gavel for Phys Immune only

Some addiitonal observations:

-It appears that you can equip just one sword and still frenzy. The damage shows as the same for both hands

-I'm not 100% certain but it appears the 1h double dps bug is stil present. In testing Grief vs BK sword on multiple Meph runs (TTK meph only), Grief is expected to finish ~4.7x faster, but only came out ~ 2.35x faster. So maybe eth upp'd headstrike will still be BiS for frenzy merc

-Hlariously, the a5 frenzy merc appears to be receiving synergy bonus from his taunt skill:

Kinda curious if it just averages out both weaps? Weird.

The tooltip does not appear to be accurate, it only shows one weapon at a time. I tested this by equipping two different weapons, and the tooltip only reflected the first one equipped, likely due to just re-using old code where the merc could only have one weapon equipped. So I don't think we can trust the merc tool tip readouts.

I just got an eth 2os nice ed Djin Slayer - hope it will work well with upped Headstriker

I'm not sure if that's only visual bug - but Frenzy A5 doesn't enhance dmg, or doesn't show it in mercenary window - also i haven't noticed his dmg increase, only speed attack and run/walk
Anyway - i've tested him with Sazabi set and bul'khatos sword, and look like he is very tanky on hell p1

it's not just the display, I think if you have 1 weap equiped, it literally duplicates this on the other hand. Test by equiping him with BK set mythical sword vs Hell Meph

run1 dual grief:43s
run2 dual grief: 47s

run3 1xgrief: 50s
run4 1xgrief: 50s

run5 1x bk sword: 2:02 (122s)
run6 2x bk sword: 1:59 (119s)

Not exactly sure why 1x vs 2x grief had slightly different numbers, but they're close. 1x vs 2x bk sword made basically zero difference.

Kingslayer in etheral cryptic sword can become a good alternative to grief early ladder for a5 merc. You even have got 40% extra gold on them.
