I guess you want to hear that you are at 50% increase!
And not 100% regardless of dr.


Lets say ur at 25% dr and u get amp'd (100% increased damg)

now, u are at 75% increase, to say it in your words.

Amp makes u take 100 more dmg
U have dr of 50
U take 50 less amp dmg
Now u calculate how much math u need

Hes right tho..

You have 50% dr
You get amped.. now u have -50% dr
You take 100 damage with 0 dr
You take 50 damage with 50 dr
You take 150 damage with -50 dr
You take 200 damage with -100 dr


In worrywarts post (post #2) you can see 50% dr vs -50% dr.
50% is 50 dmg taken
-50% is 150 dmg taken.
150/50 = 3
So you take triple damage (150 instead of 50)

And now 0% dr vs -100%:
0% dr is 100 dmg taken
-100% (amped) is 200 damage taken.
200/100 = 2
So you take double damage (200 instead of 100)

Simple as that..
