I personally use a Ber'd SS 100% of the time, for the exception of NvN.



And what Luis is saying is absolutly correct, and in all honesty, I did have a ladder nec, for about a week or two then killed him. In my honest opinion, ladder dueling just isn't very hard. Truth be told, and good BvC can go 1 on 1 and come up even vs a MAX BLOCK nec. Non max block and your fucked. People like Luis, Donny, Adrian (some of the better BvC's on ESCNL) and I myself will laugh at non block necs while on a BvC.

Soma, orbers are by far one of the harder chars to duel against. Maybe you've dueled the kids who run around casting 1 orb randomly hoping it will hit. And yes, they are EXTREMELY easy to kill. A good orber will easily out tank you, being as I may not be one of the more known figures on ESCNL, I have dueled some of the best on the realm. I don't give out strats for easy "randoms". This is meant to actually help you kill someone good. Not some run of the mill kid who has no idea how to play the character they've chosen. In all honesty, a good BvC will give you a run for your money whether you have max block or not. Yes, you can usually out-tank most of them. Any smart barb will immediatly be on top of you WW'ing in short whirls around you to keep you FBR/FHR locked. Now with that said, before you decide to come post some random BS about how you don't think these strats work well, I'll be glad to set you up some duels with some of the best out there. You'll see what I mean by just plain "randoms" and kids who know how to use their character.



Yes, yes, FriggenGenocide is good as well. Although every duel has turned out 5-0 or 5-1, it has always been very close duels. (I manage to slip out last second and get that last hit in )

Ok people, I'm going to be 100% honest, and very blunt here. 99% of the duelers you meet, suck balls. Plain and simple. I have seen kids with gear I would only imagine having, but they were terrible duelers with it. When I first had my nec, it used 10x plain GC's, an anni, it hit the 75 FCR BP, it had 40 FHR. (This was back in 1.10) Yet, I took the time to learn how to use a nec and duel with it. Sadly enough, I killed quite a few people with a pure welfare nec. You can have the worst gear in the game, and still kill kids. It's that simple.

Yes. I suggest using hoto either way, and making up the res in charms. But if your desperate, you can use a wizzy.

or is the Dr that ss gives neccessary

I will have max res with that setup, 125fcr but only 8dr(16 if i ber the homun)

I also get about 300ish more damage with this setup

or should i just stick with ss for the dr?

and should i get max block with homun only? or ss as well or not use ss at all and save the stat pts and put them into vita instead?

If your gonna go the homunc route, just max block with homunc. Throw on the SS vs windys. I prefer having 50% dr. You notice the difference by alot. Any build works just fine. They all have their pros and cons. I myself have rebuilt my nec quite a few times. I personally like the setup I have now.
