well max ... sorcs, zons, druids etcetc are fairly easy anyways. you are rght about the faster pk thing but judging in terms of overall effectiveness, i would say that max MB is > max FBlast.
high fblast dmg is very cool to have against necros, ok. but so is max MB since your sm spams so much as you chase and swirl dura increases for easier stunlocks. by adapting kicks with high % chance to trigger OW i think you can still beat most necros if you chase carefully.
especially against smiters, the SM spam comes in handy since you dont have to waste precious time to namelock MB which is always a risc for charge hits or telesmites with all the desync.
high FB dmg builds are definitly good and fun to use as well, but considering you can still effectively use FB on base lvl and with all the versatility of max mindblast in mind (HEHE), i think that max MB is definitly worth using in 1v1s as well, or even superior to FB.
