I see that you use 7mf charms, why don't you use the best armor for mf, enigma? (Also best armor for 95% d2 builds)

Because I need the faster cast rate, and the -res on the facet are useful aswell I guess. The mf SCs are from another char, I can take plane ones aswell.

If you need fcr then use viper. Have in mind that you already have 350% fire damage from fire mastery, that 20% from ormus or eschuta makes nearly no difference.

You are right with the fire dam, but the +3fb or +3meteor brings a 7%dam boost.

Assuming one would play with Ormus, would meteor or fire ball be better?

calculate. how many fireballs do you cast in between two meteors, do your meteors hit reliably, ...? A bunch of variables depend on your personal playstyle, so there is no general answer
