On the question of tri-res boots, if you feel that you can walk out of town without much trouble with psn dmg, then yes, u shld use either unique or crafted boots, those would provide you alot more, be it dmg or utility.

This is so true! My knowledge on the game has evolved since I was a young boy.
It wasn't even until D2R that I learned about the 1/6 pvp penalty. So its because everyone elses knowldege has grown as well! WOW OKAY I SEE

Well there are some changes:

Amazons:
- People are more aware of the plague skill now.
- Plague got buffed, first they shortened the duration, then they increased it damage, and now we have same damage on shorter duration.
- CS has less syntenergies
- Bow got higher damage, due to syntenergies, and some might think its not needed to get 7-8k ga damage, instead 3-4k ga and add plague and maby cs

Rabies:
- This skill got fucked in pvp. Yes u can walk/run into a guy and rabies him, then stay close and it will damage him. But if he decide to teleport out of minimap range then all psn damage stops, and u will basicly need to rabi him again.
* Unshaping to make a teleport, or due to dmg or due to anything will instantly stop all rabies damage and u will need to reinflict rabies by a direct hit. The rabies aura are visual displayed, but not able to re-inflict itself or any1 with damage before u perform a new attack.
* Out of range stops all rabies damage. Only visual shit. No re-inflicting in any way or form.
- So this skill is basicly nerfed to the ground by blizz, most likely without them knowing it...

Psn nova:
- I dont have any experience or first hand knowledge of this myself, but people pvm'ing vs diablo says it's inconsistent. Basicly stop working. I dno about this one, as i have not tested myself and i was just told about it from 1 guy.

Assassin:
- MB got nerfed, you now need more damage basicly. Harder to outplay enemies with stunlock. So people may focus on more damage. People may drop the 102fcr build's and focus on more damage.
- Kick's was unblockable etc for a period of time.
* Basicly resulting in people carrying higher melee in form of crushing blow and direct physical damage and OW. Often mistaked as poison damage by enemy. (a few focus on psn damage).
- Psn dagger sin's are more known.

-It all just means blizzard don't know how their game works. Amazon was already strong in pvp, then got buffed to the sky on bow damage.
- Such a buff in bow damage is inzane OP in pvp, they should have used %damage to undead and %damage to demons or elemental damage adds.
- Plague was strong enought.
- Combined with the dodging albilies becomming 100% op with the new fhr/stun system which ovbious sucks. And pvm'ers love this change, without even understanding it DOES ONLY AFFECT FUCKING PLAYERS. Monster's can still stun you over and over and over again rapidly, you just lost the tool to wsg out of it. Monsters still desync.
So basicly they dumb'ed down the game to please pvm'ers, but it dont affect pvm at all, only pvp.
- Rabies and wolf was weak, now rabies sucks.
U could mention 50 more, but this topic is about psn...

Wow! So organized!

Yes yes, All of the info that has been posted in this thread would definitely explain the recent surge of importance on Poison Res.
I must do more research on Poison Jav and Nova for that matter to see if they're worth building around and how I would for the characters that I play!


Thank you everyone! My curiosity has been more than fulfilled pertaining to this subject.
