well there are only 15 charges of poison creeper on the ring, so you got to double it up or you'll be repairing in town often

Somebody check me on this, but pretty sure lower resistance curse is back in chaos sanctuary. Depending on how much you run it, I'd consider something like hotspurs.

Or max resist fire after synergies instead of holy shield, which opens up boots slots. Otherwise non max res, LR curse, convic Infector will eat your 4k hp

I think that mostly means you want to overcap your fire resist. Increasing max fire resist only helps if you have enough resistance to get there. So either fire res charms or fire resistance boots. I think max fire res is unnecessary. You just don't want to be below 75% fire res under LR+conviction.

Hotspurs actually isn't a bad choice since it has a solid 45% fire resistance. Aldurs can get up to 50% fire resistance. Aldurs also has nice FRW so I'd use Aldurs if I was lacking fire resistance vs LR+conviction.

Correct, need the fire res would need to be overmaxed to get to 90-95FR.
For sure, I'm pretty much speaking only towards chaos builds. I found that rising sun solves this best, but yeah, pure chaos. I think OP was PVE so likely would deal with fire res in proportionately to annoyance with fire damage.

Hey there, thanks for the input! How is it possible to unlock such high fire res? Do I just stack the resistance high enough and then it automatically reaches this level or do I need any parcitular items?

In the mean time I have done all the Anya quests and I have an easy 75@ res on hell right now, even if I remove my Annihilus.

Hotspurs boots add +15 max fire res, so that takes you to a possible 90, which you would likely have with your anni it sounds like. Points into resist fire add +.5 max resist/skill invested, so investing 10 points there would add +5, for a total of possible 95 fire resist.

My final chaos-din for HC P8 wears war travs, has 85 fire resist (from points into resist fire), and uses rising sun Amy for fire sorb. With conviction on, I have ~40 fire resz but rising sun absorb still helps me heal a bit when venom lord's/fire attacks land. When I have no conviction, I rarely pot.

Keep in mind, as previously stated, this is niche to chaos sanctuary pure runner. I think that's where hdin excels best but many like to play other areas too. Also, I bring this up because of the lower resist curse existing in chaos in d2r. 95 fire resist can get quite low or negative if conviction+lower resist is on you. Also also, this is from a HC perspective
