Energy shield

The only correct answer for nova sorc is self wielding scythe infinity with merc using insight. It’s simultaneously the highest damage output and the highest defensive output through meditation/eshield.

It seems like to think your sorc is using the shield to maxblock? =)

Thanks for all the replies. If I'm able to afford infinity one day I will try that build. For now I think I'll just be a stubborn noob and try out a build that I can obtain atm. I do still want to play around with Nova. If I come up with something that works decent enough I will share my build here.

Is FHR necessary if you play a Scythe Nova sorc?

Depends on # players and where you farming. Mobs that auto stun you are very annoying without FHR. And at p8 souls can stun lock you with damage alone.

Players 8 cows and chaos runs mainly! I want to test if this build is better/faster than my 200 Nova Sorc with Spirit or 105fc Crescent Moon setup.

Chaos should be fine, no fhr really needed cept when teleporting into deseis when amped etc. Cows I dunno, depends on your HP I guess. No auto stun mobs so def less needed.

The non mf option is gona be eth treks so u will get 20 fhr already, which helps alot.

Souls will fhr with damage on p8 with 600ish hp, snake charges also fhr and lister of course.
