Lvl 8 poison dagger isn't adding much dmg

Especially since the duration is reduced to 0.4 because of venom

That’s not how venom interacts with poison dagger.

Let’s say poison dagger is 5,2 seconds with -100 plr on hell it’s 10,4 seconds + 0,4 from venom = 10,8 seconds poison

Venom applies it’s full damage every 0,4 seconds over that 10,8 seconds. Meaning if you precast, let’s say 3k venom. 1 poison dagger will deal 3000 * 27 = 81000 poison damage (it’s actually more cos Trang oul gloves 25% is applied when u precast venom and again when u deal the hit.

You can quite easily hit up to 120k dmg in 1 poison dagger on an assa

You sure about this? Maybe the interaction is different because applied through a skill, but I thought poison damage would be reduced to the lowest duration, and since venoms duration is 0.4s all poison damage lasts that long when venom is active.

Maybe the skill over rides that and instead multiplies up the duration? Have you tested this or do you have a source?

Yes 100% sure cos I alrdy have the char in legacy

It also works with plague charges javelin, the unique one, however you have to hit the “physical” part in both cases in order for it to work
