Right? My merc has Eth GT Infy and he does very well, but even when Zealing Conviction'ed mobs sometimes the Zeal whiffs, or it hits but does not kill a dangerous hard hitting elite nearby, which can get super dangerous, especially on P8 Moon Lords with Might / Fanat or something akin to that.

I tried Max Block GA build with Zeal and that didn't feel much better, either, even with good FHR and Block Rate frames it was easy to get locked into place by fast melee mobs.

The best performing variant I've experienced is Enigma with 8% DR combined with Last Wish's Fade 15% DR, and only enough Dex to use the PB, everything else into Vit. Her Block % is low and she takes more hits, but they don't do as much damage and proc Confuse all over the screen.
