Let me clear up a few things.

First, I am extremely proud to have co-authored this guide. It was built on top of the bones of my original guide, with years worth of knowledge and discussion added onto a single page. No more searching 100 pages for an obscure melee discussion.

The ed/min/max jewel section is accurate, and I believe that I gave the example that was used in this guide. So if you go through and look at the math, you'll see it's solid. Also not based on any conversations you've had with Koston previously, but with me. Koston did put a massive amount of work into this, and I believe is currently the highest ranked Fury on the D2R melee ladders. They know what they are talking about, and come to me directly with questions otherwise. So I put my stamp of approval on this.

I also want to address the point about phase blades. Yes, BotDz is generally better. There are some rare exceptions, such as with a Fools Phase vs a high defense Zealer. Botdz is expensive enough in D2R that if someone finds a usable ethereal crystal/dimensional and ups it to PB, or finds one cheaper than a Botdz, it's usable. Sure, not the best, but this guide doesn't claim it is, either. Just that it's possible to use one if you want to. It won't be complete crap, and has a similar win rate with BotdZ against that specific opponent. You couldn't use it for Fury v Fury though. Auto lose.

This is false. Ias outside your weapon has allways worked. Only helped to reach new breakpoints with slow weapons, but it worked.

That's very true. IAS did work in LoD, but not really once you were at 5 frame or greater. The formula used in LoD is also much different from D2R, where they've normalized it to use eias like other classes, making oias effective even on very fast weapons. Slow weapons could be pushed up a little in LoD. It's usually not discussed since the slower weapons aren't particularly viable below 5 frame (EDC was ok at 6 frames sometimes), but you're correct. I'll see if Koston can still edit and make a clarification. Appreciate it.

Thank you for this catch. I've clarified this in the original post - still had the edit ability! I never really used slower weapons on wolf druids (it wasn't the norm on the realm/time period when I played - everyone was doin the PB or fanged knife thing in GM melee, which is the focus of this guide), so this was not on the forefront of my mind.
