Did OP not ask for best in slot? Are you really going for the Shako Mara Hoto set up? Come on, if OP wanted to make a Hammerdin, he'd make a Hammerdin. If you can't see how a 60% damage increase in Poison while maintaining all other options isn't significantly better, you shouldn't give Nec advice (or any advice).

What area are you targeting for your pvm? This will determine the gear options. As others have stated, three piece trangs gives +30/-30% if you facet the head. Perfect Maras is good to cap fire and light resistances if you don't have dual res on the caster amulet, otherwise you're losing PNB skillers to cap those res, at which point don't bother with 3pnb/fcr. Also, imo, fcr isn't really useful outside teleporting, since you cap what psn dmg you're doing based on time applied, not on making multiple stacking applications of psn. My Nova Necro is at -95% psn res on gear with 50fcr, and does p8 Chaos before bots can finish Baal run [including the Diablo kill]. On p1, you don't need to lower res anything except Diablo, and just teleport one nova through Chaos to full clear in like 2 minutes. It's 2/3 casts of Nova to kill Diablo on p1, so like 6 seconds. Am level 98, ~1 bar from 99.

If you're doing Baal runs instead of Chaos, swap Dwarf for Wisp and 11% fire res small charms for light res to offset Souls and you're fine even if they lower res you.
