I recommend using gmb instead, combined with strafe+atma's scarab, for cold immunes. You're going to have to deal with them anyway. You do not need so fast attack speed, freezing arrow deals good enough damage as it is, firing too fast drains your mana faster than necessary. You should focus on herding a little bit to capitalize on the freezing arrows. Unless you decide to run prayer/insight merc which gives insane hp+mana regen .. then you can just use it almost indefinitely IF you have a 300+ mana pool.

Kira's guardian for resists, since you're playing hardcore, that should be a priority. 1000 hp with -50% all resists is dangerous.

Prebuffing fade from treachery is an option, but it is tedious, and you should not be taking many hits.

Infinity merc for freezing arrows?

i was considering using an act 5 merc with plague for lower resist, but no idea if this is trash or not

A chance to proc when hit vs a better -% from perma convic, the choice is clear

Also base merc aura is a plus

I never liked using infinity. The merc has to be in vicinity of the monsters for the aura to take effect, and then it doesn't always affect all monsters, and then you have to wait. It wastes time. I found it better to use the more conventional, not to mention cheap, setup.

i know for a fact i wont be buying runes for infinity on HC ladder so while this may be the best set up it wont be the one i plan on using personally

additionally i do a lot of team play with friends and expect to group with an foh pally for their conviction most of the time

The build is expensive (mainly to ice RW rerolls that are insanely painfull, my 3MB is 15/0 and to obtain 30cold dmg and around 300ED I did spend a fortune)

the char got much better due to mana improvement and strafe sinergies.

- MB is by far the best bow to reach 8fpa with IA and max strafe while achieving the best DPS possible compared to any other alternative and retain all the goodies (100% pierce, Highlord, NW cold dmg buffer etc)

- pride is better to push the hybrid concept, also couz infinity is very MEH when u stay max distance and conviction aura does not actually hit mobs (u are not a soso or a mec, tele stomping all day long)

- u need a big mana ringo with ML

- you can also drop NW to change the build a bit (I till have benched a 30dex/3os pvp circlet, but I don't think it's any better then NW for this hybrid at the end of the day, but u can move out of NW if u don't like the look with enigma). Best call would prob be a ML/3os diadem with 1x 15ias jewel and 2x facets to retain same breakpoints and make 2nd ring 100% flex due to ML on your head (soj, whisp etc).

I don't want to go too much in the details, but the char builder shoud show all the important brainstorming. Only thing I would change, given the IA mana buff, it's a 15/15 jewel over 15/3maek on the head, but that's up to u.

If I will have ever time to play a bit again I might end up writing a guide, there is a bit of costum picks avaible (pride vs infi, NW vs 3os head either with ML to make the 2nd ring flex or 30dex // frw etc) but atm it's impossible for me to do so.

Loved her a lot tho, she is legit even atp8 split runs, she is insanely safe and she is off meta so you actually change the playstile a bit ^^ if u got any question ask away!
