Spirit is better anyway, you get laek from enigma and life leech from titan and you get maek from silkweave

Besides that you’ll be as immortal as with Phoenix cos of that and spirit will give more dmg and tele speed

Spirit it's better for pvp, specially vs casters like sorcs, trapper... +2 skills and resist, fcr and fhr. For melee chars go with stormshield.

phoenix is awful, but your main issue is using coh over eni

spirit works well with enigma. if you choose not to use enigma, spirit doesn't seem so good anymore.

There is no reason to use spirit if no tele^^

But there is no reason why he should not have enigma xD

I was doing dia and baal runs. Starting timer at the very beginning of the sanctuary and as quick as possible when baal laughed his balls off for the first time. Stoping the timer when dia died and when baal laughed for the last time.
Why not time the br+ baal kill?
When it comes to cs runs dia kill is inevitable, dia is always standing still when doing solo runs. On the other hand baal teles, pushes you away = more random behavior > time can differ significantly.

Conclusion: dia runs with dia kill, baal runs no baal kill.

I've done 10 dia + 10 baal runs with phoenix and spirit.

PHOENIX 10 dia runs total time: 35min 21sec
PHOENIX 10 baal runs total time: 14min 30sec

SPIRIT 10 dia runs total time: 38min 57sec
SPIRIT 10 baal runs total time: 13min 44sec

Conclusion: killing big packs of mobs with spirit is bit faster, but running around and clearing areas is faster with phoenix.
With phoenix I had no problem with life/mana, running with spirit caused drinking potions. I didn't like that tbh.

Gear: CoH + shako + tgod + wt + hoj + eth titans + cat's eye + raven + manald + phoenix/spirit + torch + anni + 1x java sk (I've started the runs with manald and obtained better ring during the runs but changing the ring would cause starting all the process over again, so I've finished the runs with manald).
Why CoH and not eni? Fg was the issue.
I've spent my last fg on infinity. With no infi even eni won't do the trick, so I've decided to make running javazon with infi and be able to clear areas than obtaining an eni and having killing issues with telezon.

Conclusion: for me running around killing monsters, clearing areas, hunting monsters down is what makes me smile. I'm easily bored with pure mf runs. That's why running, killing, clearing areas of monster with phoenix is great for me (+it looks awesome ;D). I do not have to worry about my life/mana + I hardly had issues with souls. Wanna be faster? Prefer to leave some monsters behind in order to get to your destination faster? Get eni and use spirit.

I was running and not teleing and it was much easier to get to the sanctuary/throne with phoenix than spirit. Much easier. I didn't track time but I had a feeling it was MUCH EASIER.

I ran a amozon this session and used a spirit. After some time, I ran into the issue of popping pots all the time and it got old and annoying, therefore I changed from having spirit as my main hand to having a phoenix as my main and spirit as my swap for tele. Solved my mana issues and still got my break point with tele. I also ran a infinity merc to help with the pisky immunes.
