5,2k life with zero dr, most likely not cnbf, and bad absorb is not a tank. Its made of a big piece glass which breaks easy.

28k damage is then way better.

You don’t need DR against elemental damage which is the main concern - You shouldn’t be getting hit that often by melee hits as a sorc. You don’t need cnbf as it doesn’t impact cast speed. You don’t need absorb when you have max res and can even get 85-90 res with a simple gear swap. You can also add DR to the build and still hit 4.7k life.

How is ES better when you can barely reach 18k fb dmg?

28k damage is nothing if you’re dead.
