And without the explosive bolt +pierce + enchant synergy I guess the dmg will be significantly less. I think the real magic come from the explosive bolt, because when bolt explode it apply the enchant fire damage again.

Well melee will deal the fire and light dmg twice.
The warshrike has 50% pierce, dagger also has 30ias.
Nova deal a little dmg as well.
2 x dream is also way more dmg than 1 x dream.

But yes, ofc the explotion is more aoe dmg.
