He is correct, Self wielding Infinity is the max damage. HOWEVER it takes alot of other gear to makeup for the res/fcr/mana/fhr you lose by not going a shield.

This is why I went Crescent moon to kinda split the difference, infinity has up to -55 lightning res, CM has -35 and you get a spirit.

ALSO to play it properly with infinity self wield, you should put it in a non eth, low stat base, which has GARBAGE resell value.

So you made a guide because all you could find was guides with bad information. But your guide is just another guide with bad information.

i mean you can but they will do no damage. as spec'd above, the build is done at lvl 91 1 point into TS isnt bad but it is not great.




Hey there! let me answer this response in 2 parts.

1. Nowhere in this write up did I say this was a MF stacking build. Does this mean you cant swap some gear around and stack alot of magic find, no. I just prefer raw damage setups for the kill speed in high player counts.

Does this mean I dont find shit? NO!

Here is why:

2. The old Clearspeed vs MF stacking arguement:

When you farm on low players count, the chance a monster will drop nothing is very high. When you add more players into the game, the chance a monster has to drop nothing decreases. This maxes out when a game is full (8 players, p8, players 8) basically meaning everything you kill has a chance to drop something.

So I prefer farming at a fast pace dropping as many items as possible increasing the chance for rune drops.

Also farming high player counts increases the amount of damage a monster does as well as their HP.

This is why my build is setup as it is. I dropped magic find items for Damage, fcr, res, more mana, and faster hit recovery. Making this sorc farm high player counts faster and safer.

Hope this makes sense lol if you need any more elaboration just lmk and i'll try and explain.

That is a blanket statement to hopefully explain to a newer player that you cant expect your build to perform well with crap gear. Griffons/Infinity is mandatory for light sorcs.



+2 sorc, Mana, life and res. Tal amulet is super good!

BIS would be a godly rare ammy with +2, huge strength, mana, all res, and life

Best in slot is used for actual high end builds that are built correctly.

This is not.


This is just poor build design in which you just three shit together to try to make it work.
