the extra % ed should really favor windforce even more in pvm, and it was previously better to use windforce with a1 faith merc than faith with a2 might pride merc even if the overall dps was pretty close, since the merc hit better and didn't override amp. I'd say its the very straight forward build as before;

I tested that exactly spec before because in my mind it was very close. But for some reason it wasn't performing as well as faith spec in full party games. No idea why. I tested every faith out there. There were all decent but WF wasn't keeping up in clearing time.

wf with faith merc is best setup for pvm u can reach 7fpa and make double/triple the dmg of faith matriarhal
faith matri is for 202x spawns only

Shadow/diamand bow was already the best for bowa before 2.4 pvp

unless there's some glitch nobody knows about, and as long as you've got a high enough level and penetrate both are hitting 95% CtH so the 300% ar on faith doesn't matter, then no reason faith should outperform it
should just be a matter of numbers, the two builds had very similar DPS in 1.14 and it should favor windforce when we add more %ed in 2.4 since it has higher base damage.
its definitely not double/triple the damage though. We've had a million threads on the subject, but I remember it being very closely similar, and the main winning point in favor of WF is that an act 1 merc with faith hits like a truck (nearly as much damage as a zon per arrow) whereas a pride a2 merc is a wet noodle that overwrites amp.

just to put some numbers to it, you've got 1294% ed multi vs demons from dex/jewels/loh/skills, minus fanat, and around +80 avg from charms/travs/belt/etc. Faith shadow with a2 might pride merc is 164 base / +893% ed, while 40/15 windforce with faith a1 merc is 306.5 base / +149% ed. Add 72% crit and faith shadow does 7198 multi (+90 fire) and windforce does 7693 multi. Its only a few hundred ahead thanks to the 2.4 buffs, previously it was closer. And if anything, the windforce build fares better in groups where you can get concentration / might aura from allied hammerdins and might mercs

You stole my setup, except I'd use life charms instead if max ones for more ed through dex investment. Every 3x 20life scs = +20ed. And my jewel is just a 39ed/15ias one
