Doesn’t this build rely on WSM, which has apparently been taken out of D2R? Would this still be top tier as a result?

I thought wsm bug was a part of d2r as well.

Autowsm has been patched. U can still do manually.

102 spider is too weak. Too much skill distribution making both ww and traps less effective. The only 102 ww sin can be one using hybrid 91 ow combined with high fcr mind blast. An average nec can defeat this as seen today in ld

Sacrificing 2assa skills levels at best equip.

There are several ways to make this hurt quite good on good gear.
Even low dmg claws can deal quite the wirl dmg by using some crushing blow.

Valk 08 + eni of duress allows for upped gores as boots.
Then berber in main claw if low dmg.
CB gets stronger the more life enemy has, and bypasses es and bone armos together with venom.

So socet of main claw can change depending on main hand claw.

U could even have pure trap claw where wirl would be of no usage, but usually its always benefitial to have wirl ready. However most people get them selves killed while wirling.

The effectiveness of frw in form of enigma+valk08+gores is usually forgotten, and people try to wirl at slow movement and dont understand why they get killed 24/7, they also play the build dumb and static and dont benefit from the arsenal of attacks. Then they go claim the build sucks.

Its the same for any hybrid, if ur not able to use the arsenal of skills correct ofc hybrid chars are not for u.
Tip 1 is to stop using F1 to F12 for skills. First of all 12 buttons for skills are to few, secondly it would require alien like piano fingers.

so I heard just recently that someone found a way to get autowsm to work on current patch.

its a bit more complicated than the old method which involved +stats on the claw to bug. which was practical.

this method requires primary claw to power str for boots which dex bug the claw to make autowsm work.
so it's not very practical because it will likely mean you do not have the str to support dancers cta-side.
(also requires scissor suwayyah chaos for those requirement stats to make this work)

but it's still interesting someone found a way to do it.
