I haven't played very much single player, i have more fun with high end characters
Last time i went with a Holy Shock zealer, it's nice if you have bad luck because you don't have to find great weapons.

I like fissure/grizzly druid, pretty fun and *can* get by with minimal gear but benefits greatly from good gear. Max fissure/volcano/grizzly/how and rest to firestorm. You can also spend 3 points adding werebear + shockwave which can be advisable for early hell before your merc has good survivability, this way if you run into a nasty boss pack of fi jerks you can save your merc. You could outfit a druid like this in pretty much any way. Standard windy equipment would work like hoto/shako/maras/enig etc. Welfare gear from nm works. Or stylish rare pelt/craft Ammy etc works. Pretty much anything can work with it, but it certainly benefits a lot from better gear. Basically it is quite weak but can make it through hell painfully slowly if you don’t grind for gear. Becomes quite strong if you do grind for gear, but not boringly strong like hammerdins or sorcs. You could go for infinity merc if you want but I highly prefer reapers merc because fissure already melts all non-fi without infinity and reapers = safety on top of the extra phys dmg.

2handed death zealot on hardcore is a challenge and fun, will keel you on your toes. You need to figure out ways to deal with lack of shield. I’m starting to believe some of the hybrid builds are really fun. Gonna try a riftsin and zealot/hammer hybrid.

Not sure if this is fun, but if you are going with the Plugy route /players 8 and willing to play like patch 1.11b (think this is it), you can relive stacking auras.

I created a paladin, dream helm on my merc and paladin (conviction) ... all you do is switch dreams between you and your merc like 100 times (kinda gets annoying) and then just walk out of Town in Act1 Hell Difficulty to Act 5 Baal killing pretty much everything, or just use the waypoints for main bosses etc... dang, you can do cows and kill the cow king repeatedly.

EDIT: oh, and make sure you have other gear other than the Dream helms...

if i remember correctly stacking aura's killed every player in 1 hit

Good luck finding two jah runes on single player.

Good luck using a braincell using Plugy, going to the File(s) to locate the character and copy it, then put the items in Shared stash, then overwriting the character again with the original items and viola... now you have 2x Jah... and you don't need to FIND Jah runes... you can just make all the High runes you want.

Come up with something better ... shit I don't even use Hero Editor to get the best items or runes, not including character level up without playing the damn game.

EDIT: btw... you don't need plugy to copy/paste character and items etc.

Bladefury sin was fun as well, not at weak as it sounds.
Max claw mastery, eth claw.
I played shared stash on mine, so was 1 tapping my way true Nightmare with a none eth bartuc lol xD

Magezon is another fun build, i would say a bit weaker.
Go full fire, then add frost.

Endgame should be:
Faith mb
A good armor (eni/forti/coh/ormus)
Hl
3/20 or 2/20/kb or 2/20/cb or loh
Wts
Strings / possible arach if eni.
Dual leech + raven
15ias in nw helm.
Etc
My idea was:
Imolation arrow - frost - frost - frost - immolation - frost frost frost
