Iron golem receives the same dmg% boost from fire golem synergy and is going to be better considering you can make it out of a weapon for additional damage, ias, cb (bolded because cruicial). Your merc/corpse explosion are still going to do the vast majority of work.

Your merc's aura will benefit from +skills (Pride's concentration aura would be superior but you stated no ladder runewords), but would be better suited with a high damage setup of his own.

I'd also suggest enigma so you can reposition your summons/merc with teleport.

Yes, this great game still has so many unexplored areas, so why not to try it even after nearly 20 years from game's taking its birth?

I disagree, I feel that this nearly 2 decade old game does not have much new to show us.

I think that Blood Golem can be much more than just a meat shield. At lvl 53 for both Blood and Fire Golem, with only Amplify Damage the Max Damage of Blood Golem will be ~2.8k, and now i only need to know what is the Max lvl of Aura that a Might Aura Merc can reach with those items listed: Chains of Honor, Harlequin Crest and Arioc's Needle, or 6-8 + to Mercs skills (this works or not?). After knowing this, i will try to know what is the math formula for knowing the % of Damage of Might Aura given to Blood Golem's Damage. Next, if Heart of Wolverine is cast from switch weapon (Heart of the Oak) it will disappear on switching back to the wand?

2k damage with an 80 skill point investment for a single target, slow attack with 0% crushing blow and no crowd control

You could use the exact same setup and use your +6 blood golem wand to cast fire golem and it would be an overall better build

So, the dms% boost from Fire Golem synergy is applied on Iron Golem's Damage of weapon (and by weapon only) from which Iron Golem is made, because Iron Golem does not have Damage on his own, like Clay and Blood Golems physical Damage. I know that any other Golem is superior to Blood Golem, but i want to try this build. Good to know about Merc's Aura boost from his own items with + to Skills. Yes, i must reconsider if using Arioc's Needle for 2-4 to merc's Skills is better or if i should try to give to my merc a weapon with much more Damage, like some rw/ better unique/ or even rare weapon (like War Pike). I don't think that i need Enigma, because its much easier to reposition a Golem and a Grizzly Bear, instead of an army of 40 Skeles/Mages plus some Revives. Instead, Chains of Honor gives some boost to Damage (plus 65 to Resist All, which i need because not much resistances i can get from such gear items), because i think that even the Necromancer himself can do some Damage with Beast rw helped by Might and Fanaticism Auras. Also, the Bear has 500 Damage at lvl 13, and with Amplify Damage/ Might/ Fanaticism his Damage will be double than that of Blood Golem. If my Blood Golem will have like 3.5k Damage (not sure yet), the Bear can have more than this Damage. So, Merc's Damage will be the best, and the rest of us (Necro, Bear and Golem) will do some good Damage (i hope so).

Edit: Bear will have less Damage than Golem, because it does not have the bonus to Damage from Fire Golem, so the Auras will apply to ~800 Damage of Golem and to only 500 Damage of Bear, without considering Amplify Damage/ Heart of Wolverine.

I hope to get much damage for my Blood Golem, something like 3.5k , and he will be of course like a meat shield also for merc/ bear/ necromancer. Also, the merc and bear will be meat shield for him, so even with that slow attack, he will have some time to do some damage to a few monsters. The crowd control is given by these 4 team mates: Golem, Bear, Merc and Necro, and with patience i can reach Hell Baal. Also, instead of using always Amplify Damage, the Marrowwalk has lvl 12 Life Tap, so for some heavy situations i can use Life Tap (or even that lvl 33 Bone Prison from the same item).
I don't want to use another setup which is of course better, but i want to make something of this D2 guy, Blood Golem :) .

You mean that if my Fire Golem is lvl 40, the Skills points from 20 to 40 are not giving bonus to Damage to my Blood Golem?

Well only hard points (Up to 20) work as synergies.

I understand the thirst for wanting to try new and unusual things as I like to do the same. Some ideas really aren't worth exploring though. I believe yours will be one of them. Not that I'm trying to talk you out of it necessarily. If you have the itch, then by all means scratch it.

With that being said, if you're so attached to seeing what seldom used summons can do when given the right boosts and resources, build yourself a Valkyrie Amazon and watch both her, and her Act 2 boyfriend Waheed (because Waheed is #1) with his Might Aura and Pride Runeword knock shit out. Wear a Beast weapon yourself to give them Fanat Aura and get yourself to 68fcr so you can tele (yes, use Enigma) quickly enough. All this, but also he fact that Valkyries are actually designed to kill things. Golems aren't.

They wont kill stuff as quick as you could yourself, but it'd be interesting watching them, and especially your Valkyrie go to work. Valkyries have a ton of synergies they benefit from.

In fact, now that I'm thinking about it, I'm slightly interested...

Helm: Shako
Weapon: Beast
Armor: Enigma
Shield: Spirit
Gloves: 3 Passive magics
Belt: Arach
Boots: Any
Ring 1: SOJ or BK
Ring 2: SOJ or BK
Amulet: 2zon / FCR

Charms

9x Passive and Magic GCs
Torch
Anni

Be sure to have enough FCR between Spirit and amulet to have 68fcr. Or, you could just stick with 48fcr breakpoint and use a Maras amulet so you have 2 to all skills for better BO and some resistances if they end up sucking.

Merc (Might Aura Waheed)
Pride
Treach
Andys

This is just a rough off the top of my head idea. There might be ways to tighten it up, but I'm sure the above would be a decent start.

So, i need to max my Blood Golem himself, thus i will try to reach lvl 53 of Blood Golem, which will do like ~350 Damage, and with 120% bonus to damage from lvl 20 Fire Golem, this means ~770 damage. To this the damage from Auras/ Heart of Wolverine/ Amplify Damage will apply, but what will be the final damage with these adds to it?

Amazon as a class is too easy with Valkyrie Skill. What were those Blizzard guys think when they created such Skill? Assasins have Shadow Master. Druids have Grizzly Bear/ Dire Wolfs etc. Necromancers have Skeletons/ and Skeleton Mastery (and White rw), Golems etc. But in the case of Blood Golem, he is seldom or not used at all by players, but i don't think that he is such an useless guy.

I like to try some weird/ unusual buids like trying to kill all the monsters who are not immune to physical damage only by using Ravens (and Merc). Ravens are the only summons which can't be killed in game, and although they can't be boosted by Auras, Amplifiy Damage works if target is cursed. With much Damage Reduction Druid (or even for any other class) all the monsters in game can be killed by Ravens.
